Bioremediation is an eco-friendly, cost-effective, and sustainable approach to environmental restoration. This review explores the role of bioremediation in mitigating environmental contaminants, its economic and ecological advantages, and the challenges hindering its widespread adoption. By integrating bioremediation into green policies, societies can harness its full potential for sustainable development.
